@ENKELI Well if you ever come down this way, let me know and i see if we have Summer fruit for you. We have growing about 7 plum trees, all fruiting one after the other, though there is some overlap. Three trees are not fruiting much. One used to be good, but shade of another tree growing in the Sunlight has stopped it from fruiting and i have not been well enough to tackle the huge tree making it so. The other two trees have never bore fruit although they are 5 years old. i pruned them hard two years ago, to see if it makes a difference but it hasn't. So i'm thinking of replacing therm. They ought to fruit late February into late March. Our first plum tree is ready just before Christmas usually but we have plumcots already well before that and berries of course.
We used to make jam, but i'm not a sweet tooth and neither is my wife, so we stopped making jam when the kids left. Our Down syndrome daughter is the only one who will eat it. We do share our fruit out with the kids and grandkids, and anyone else who might come around.😁
i can easily eat 10-15 plums a day, if i'm not too nauseous, and my wife will have 5-7. So that amounts to a lot of plums from the beginning of January to late February just us two. And then we still have mulberries, peaches, nectarines, apricots, apples, monkey bananas, figs, lemons, and pomegranates as well as oranges and mandarines in Winter. As you could have guessed we love our fruit.😁
(i read elsewhere that you are struggling. My prayers go out to you. 👋)
