@Shaz51 its been a bit of a draining day. Few things happened that have thrown a spanner in the works. Makes the future feel uncertain and the thought of yet another court case really doesn't thrill me. So I'm feeling a bit out of sorts today.

Hi. I'm new at this. My name is @heartathome. What time do you get together? Is it for anyone? I noticed I know some of the names. It'd be good to do something different and to look forward to. I'm not great at typing... yet! Needless to say, I don't type long messages! 😁

Hey @Shaz51 I'm doing good! I kinda feel bad that I should be so well on a mental health site. I'm someone with a lived experience and advocate for mental health! I'm a 64f and have a son who is in psychosis atm. He's aware that the voices aren't real, which is great but getting help is a long wait. He can't see a psychiatrist (for medication} till February next year! He won't see public mental health, and I really don't blame him. We've had some very bad experiences with them before. Thankfully, he's still working, paying bills, feeding his pets, etc. He's recently had a few months off, and I was worried he'd be fired. Still, I have no control over what a grown man decides to do, and I need to let him deal with the consequences of his behaviour. Quess who's there when he falls apart. Mum! ❤️

Hi @Shaz51 @heartathome 😊
@heartathome you definitely don't need to be 'unwell' to be part of this community!! Not only do we have heaps of carers, but also folks who are at various stages of recovery. Make yourself at home 😉
