Delusions

Delusions

I have Schizophrenia and suffer from having various Delusional Stories. Some of them are that I have a Son. Another is that I am married. The worse story is that my biological family are not my biological family. Does anybody else have these sort of false beliefs? Can you please share them? And how to face the truth?

Re: Delusions

No @FearofUnknown I'm not aware of daily delusions. I'm diagnosed bipolar and my delusions have usually been around manic or mixed states. I hadn't had a episode for more than 20 years but was ill earlier this year. Mostly I struggle with anxiety and depression, which might go back to early trauma and long-standing family dysfunction.

It's good if your new medication is helping. I have trouble with the side effects of mine but see no option other than taking it.

It's great your family are still there for you. Some of us lose touch during and after illness.
