GOALS FOR TODAY

GOALS FOR TODAY

Today I am going to:

Study for an upcoming test.

Try to find something important which is missing.

Acknowledge I have extreme rage towards the history of my life.

I am not going to sabotage my current successes because of my past pains.

I am going to purposefully stop, slow down and process when I feel triggered by my past pains.

I am not going to post BS on social media.

I am going to celebrate my wins and victories.

I am going to honour the fact that my wins and victories are built on pain and destruction.

I am not going to be jealous of people who own a house.

I am not going to judge people close to me, in my life, who do things that I disagree with even when those things affect my life.

I love this, thank you for sharing.

I am going to share my goals:

-Go to the library and pick up my book I put on hold, so I can connect with the world through stories and grow in empathy by understandign other people's viewpoints.

-Create a list of poetry books that I want to read.

-Drink lots of camomile tea with honey to try settle my sore tummy

-Leave my phone unattended, with the sound alert on in case a friend contacts me about needing me

-Rest so I can get rid of this headache pain

-Go for a small walk

-Hang out my washing

@Sugarshack @26March24

My goal for the rest of my life is to try to remember to celebrate my wins.

I usually just move the goal posts and not remember to pat myself on the back.

Re: GOALS FOR TODAY

I did 3 out of 7 things and I'm happy with this.

Plus a afew extra things I'm proud of.

First time making a fresh ginger, lemon and honey tea for my body - delicious and it turns out ground ginger is ok when you don't have the fresh root!

Rest - I did some meditation in the afternoon and slept a lot

Remained ok emotionally even though my friend didn't communicate about hanging out

Did 2 loads of washing in prep for working more this week

Bottled up homemade veggie stock that was sitting out overnight on the stovetop

Stayed off the phone and finished a book - now on to another one 🙂

Re: GOALS FOR TODAY

Good one everybody, I find that even when "emotions" dont play along theres a lot to be gotten out of achieving a few things, and writing lists brings the idea to our minds.

Today I am fighting anger about being treated with double standards by a person who 'should know better', and I am not mentioning anything about 'the conflict.

I am a fairly reactive person so I am practising patience and silence because the other person doesnt realise they are playing a game, so I am not buying into their opinion. I am just going about my life knowing that the other person has a game, their game doesn't make sense.

Old me would go to that person and ask WHY they are obviously playing games.

Growing me is practising the art of silence because I KNOW there is a game, and I am not going to get into it.

Have a nice day everyone.
