And its hard to get a flight upgrade on FF points unless you have a high-status tier card too 😭 even when you have the points. I saved up enough points and then applied, but did not get upgrade on either of the 2 flights.

...so then I spent the points on a holiday package which I got on a very good deal 😅. But of course those long flights were also very painful!

For this reason I chose "teleportation" as my superpower on that ice breaker topic lol.

Highlight of the day?

Dog grooming day! When I pick them up in a while they will be clean and fresh (and hopefully sleep). I feel like a responsible indoor pet owner when my dogs are washed and brushed and nails clipped. And I am happy with my decision to outsource it to a groomer because I wasn't keeping up with it myself. 😊

I very much relate to this discussion @AlwaysMyself @ENKELI Every time I'm on a flight I think "next time I'll have to save extra money to get better seats or a nicer airline" and then it comes time to book my next holiday and I just can't justify the prices of an upgrade or that business class bidding you can do on some airlines, so I just sit in my cramped uncomfy. Teleportation would be phenomenal!

I think my highlight so far has been waking up feeling inspired and excited to get started on some new knitting and sewing projects. Just enjoying sitting in that feeling 😊

@Ru-bee wish i could sew and knit i did try but wasnt good at either unfortunately! i can cook though 😄

Cooking well is an amazing skill to have @Bunniekins I wouldn't say I'm good at sewing yet, and I definitely wasn't good at knitting when I started, they both take looooots of time and practice to learn

highlight today is feeling the support here after a day of fear driven by past.

im saying thank you quickly i was doing more thorough but not to long thanks to all and reakised i have psychilogist tele health and will finish and post after just rushing i have 3min to get to falcon and sign in

I'm going to buy a lotto ticket this weekend- we might be flying first class after all lol!

My super power would be invisibility so I could look in on my ex Godson and Goddaughter to see how they're going. I haven't been allowed to contact them for nearly 3 years because of their mother cutting me out of their lives.

I was pleased with yesterday as I went out to my GPs practice to pick up some scripts, then went to the chemist to get them filled. The whole trip and waiting time was about an hour or so as my GP is 5 suburbs away from my chemist.

I also re-potted and pruned some plants, watered and made chow mein for dinner.

Today I'll be lucky if I stay awake after not sleeping last night, argh!
