What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

My highlight of the day has been visiting my friend who is quite unwell and her sitting up to drink her coffee and have a biscuit with me ✨️ 💫

It might seem like a little thing,but it was definitely a thrill for me!

Glad to hear your return is finally being processed, yay!

My highlight was that I got my passport, woot woot!

I also got my visa card hacked by a dodgy visa site when I was applying for the UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). The site said it would cost me £20 but when I went to pay for it I was told my payment was declined. Turns out they tried to take $253 out of my account and the NAB blocked the payment. I spoke to a wonderful NAB rep (this at 7pm on Friday night!) who cancelled my card and arranged to have the new one posted out. The best thing is that because I use my Samsung wallet my card is automatically updated so I can use the new card with paypass by phone straight away. I love the NAB they are the BEST!!

thats good re card @ENKELI hate those sites that charge for govt info which is free eg. Should be illegal. eg google ABN search and someone will happily charge you $80 or something , but go a few listings down and theres searchable govt site which is FREE ..aagh

(She has one of my old lambswool seat covers as her lounge room bed. She has another soft bed in the bathroom and a mat in the laundry. Talk about spoilt!)

Yes, I definitely love NAB too!

They are always helpful

I've had my accounts hacked too and they've notified me quickly and helped me to get the accounts sorted 🙃

They usually put a transaction on hold until they have confirmed that it is me or not.

The last one was a transaction made in O'works in Doncaster, as I'm in SA it was caught by them and checked before any harm was done ✔️

@TAB exactly! I used to have to check ABNs in a previous job and that used to annoy the heck out of me!

There are so many sites and it's only that my bestie sent me the link for the UK govt site that I have the correct one. Except the online site says to use the app and the app keeps crashing...

@Taali I was with BOQ for a while (not by choice, they took over the credit union I was with) and they called me to check on a transaction that was unusual which I thought was good.

I love the NAB because they don't charge overdraft fees and being on centrelink, my account is ALWAYS in arrears so it's saved me a huge amount. This is the second time they have caught a suspicious transaction. Their service is always really good too.
