What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Loveeeeee the squishies @MissGremlin 🤩💃🪩, so funny you found an icepole 😅. And we have a matching colours ☺️. Omg seeing the pic though it made me laugh and the anxiety returned on when I thought the stick was going to be solid in the squishy pre purchase 🤣😆. Remember me telling you? Hahah. How do you find the shape of it? Which is your favourite out of the ones you got? They are awesome!! Did I tell you awhile back I brought a capybara 🤣. This is before I knew about the song and movie/cartoon and thought why on earth out of all animals did they choose a capybara 🤣 too funny!! I can’t remember if I shared a pic of it with you, I felt it would have been a highlight of mine but not sure if I was able to post it at the time! I hope your day was made with finding those awesome squishies! What does Casper think of them? 😅

It’s really great to hear you have been doing well over the last few weeks, I must say it’s been awesome seeing you around the forum lately too! 🤩 Glad you found the topic of the essay interesting and that you were able to hand in the essay in what a relief that would have been! Congrats! When does studying for your major in sociology start?

Oh wow hospitality! How good! I also did hospitality as a subject in school, I loved it!! I was about to ask you about coffee making hehe as I really enjoyed that part!! I see you will get to do that 🤩. What parts of the hospitality course have you enjoyed so far and what are you looking forward to in the course? That is awesome about applying for employment 🤩💃, I read that you have to complete the course before applying for that particular cafe so I was wondering what area your current application is at? Hehe @Taali, yep had to pick up my online shop order 🤭. Mostly just errands today but managed to get a couple of ‘to do’ things off my list and 🐶 was happy I took her to the pet shop 🤣. She loves it. Likes looking for all biccies and treats that have fallen out of the bags and checks out all the racks and under stuff 🤣. Then when she’s finished “cleaning” the store she loves the front counter where she knows the treat jar sits 😆.

Great news about the funds, it really sounds like you have some great plans put into action now. Haha your mug shot, you made me laugh 🤣 thankyou! Good luck with your passport 🤩☀️. My Tuesday has been ok thanks 😊. I slept in until late then found the motivation later in the day and finally was able to get some errands ticked off woohoo 💪. Really enjoyed my walk this evening too with the dogo ☺️. What’s on for your week and how’s your garden going 🥰
