What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Hey there @Nala2022 how’s your day going? Just catching up ☺️. Your picnic sounded so good, you selected some awesome food 🤩😋. So much so it sounded like everyone was up for a party and wanting to share re ducks and seagulls lol. Seagulls can be very naughty, hope for the most part you were able to eat in peace lol.

The dessert pizza sounds amazing, did you know about the spread or just came across it? Yum!! I love Nutella! I also love Nutella doughnuts but you can’t find them like you use to like the fresh sugar cinnamon and piped with Nutella gah so good.

Still liking your hair colour 😊? Is it completely different to what you normally go for? I do like a bit of change here and there but liking the colour I get atm and don’t stray from my normal colours I get lol. How was your dad’s birthday and also you said you made quiches with your mum that sounds fun! I am okay 😊. Going to the shop later to pick up the online order Rom earlier in the month, managed to delay them until today lol they have been patient. Not looking forward to playing freezer Tetris lol. I am sure it will fit. Still in bed but should get out soon but do really like my bed haha. Big week of work coming up nothing really else planned yet. Looking forward to our walk tonight 🤩 and did cook a green chicken curry last night and have left overs which is good. Motivation has been so low. Sometimes I wonder if this medicine I’m on is beneficial or not it has good benefits and not somethings it’s made a lot worse so hard to know if it’s for me 😌. Very confusing. 😜 but it’s ok can’t complain, doing okay. What’s on for your week?

i was on terrible heart med that can cause lung scarring touch wood @ENKELI well ontop of decades of smoking, welding etc

nurse claimed 'some restriction' on lung function test seeing specialist soon as said.

ha ha got contract just now. Am Employed ha ha lol

I'll be okay

I've just come from a doctor's appointment where he ran nearly 45 minutes late. The nurse who does my depot injection and her student performed a heart health check while we waited. My score was very low (Below 5)(that's very good)

GP barely acknowledged me

It occasionally happens. And always with good reason. Whether that is a crisis appointment before me, or his 3 year old daughter sick

Oh hey there @heartathome 💚 what a treat to be in at similar times here 🤩☀️. Sounds like you have had a lovely day! Wish I had a cleaner too hehe. Yess I have been thinking we haven’t spoken for ages! Been thinking of you as always and always wondering how you are and what you are up to ☺️. I am going ok. Trying to get life admin sorted, feels like I have a lots of stuff to get done and sorted 😜. Hopefully today I can get some more stuff ticked off my list! Starting later than intended but ahhh well 😎. What’s on for your week ahead? Always lovely connecting my friend 💚

I hear you @DogMan79, it’s a bit annoying when they are delayed but like you understand why and glad people are getting the help they need. That’s good that you got some opportunistic health checks while you were there though that’s a plus and you must be happy with the results of them 😊
