The garlic and lemongrass was delicious. I've not had much of an appetite so that really hit the spot 😋.

My physio/acupuncture appointment was good, even though I feel embarrassed by my body.

The trouble is that the pain subsides but returns quickly.

i got a power lead and 30m of garden hose so i can fill the water tank up and a power board and double adapters. i got a high end gaming desktop computer, with a back up battery ,and a 36 inch monitor. i want to see if i can fit it in the caravan somewhere, without using all the living space. otherwise i will have to sell it and get a laptop.

i love to fly flight simulators, especially high end graphics. So when i feel well to just fly around. It has taken me years to save up for this massive outfit. Be a pity if i had to do away with it. Should find out over the next day or so if i can make it fit without being an eys sore or in the way.

Laptops are not near as immersive an experience than flying on a high end desktop computer. i got hundreds of games the grand kids coming around all these years. i used to have 6 computers set up for gaming. This a way a lot of them could play, we got 19 grand kids, about a dozen of them used come around to play games a lot in times past, especially when we had camps for them Summer holiday. i sold some. Still got some for sale still. Only just finished a high end gaming computer from parts i had left over and then specials, and then sell. That is how i got my a lot of my computer paid for.

@DownMoreThanUp sounds as if you are all set to go. You are in a time of transition and have a new life ahead of you. I know you havent been well today but I hope you are filled with optimism about your future doing up the house and moving! Computer games have come along a long way since I was growing up. We used to have Atari and Commodore 64. I dont play computer games but I know some people are enthusiasts and have gaming chairs etc. It doesnt appeal to me really but have seen a computer game shop at my local precinct which I noticed walking by with 1000's of computer games.

@Taali you will enjoy having aged care stuff in place. It will make things a lot easier for you. A big tick from me ✅ I know you have been struggling, many of us do. But you do well for yourself with the proper supports in place. Kudos to you and well done! You must be so happy

i used to play games but not any more for the last 30 years apart of flying at times. Just 20-30 minutes. i love fixing. Making things work. writing my own programs. i use Linux, so all is free. apart of donations i for the good stuff, i do not pay for software since i stopped using Windows (XP). i got sick being hacked, so i began using Linux. A bit of a learning curve in those days still, but nowadays Linux beats Windows 10-11 with ease. There is no comparison.

Many Women are no also joining the FREE Operating System which does NOT spy on you, and can be controlled completely if you want that control, or leave it up to the open source community dedicated to privacy, ease of use and electronic freedom.

here a link to the operating systems i use. Yes i have more than one, and if you install it and have windows on your computer you can keep that and boot into that or the new Linux version so you can use both. That is how i learned to use Linux, use both= Linux automatically give a boot menu when Windows is on your. i got Windows 11 too, although i only use it to fly flight simulator 2024, but i like 2020 better i play that on Linux.
