What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Evening @Nala2022 hope you have had a lovely Sunday 😊. Oh yeah that drive was something else 🤣🤣. Quite glad I did not get sauce in my car 😂. Yes she was really thankful for the meals. Feel bad for her though she’s out of work for a bit. Oh really your bluey is not to far behind my girl ☺️. Well nearly a year hehe my girl turns 11 in March 🐶.

Not too much on for me 😊. I do have a physio appt booked so hope to make that! And have been meaning to get the car serviced so finally got that booked in. Also have to logistically manage an online shop (which I thought was a great idea at the time lol)- I’m just going to ask if they would be happy to keep half my order and I’ll pick it up at a later time 🤣🙊- let’s see how that goes down lol. Ha! I love a good hair cut and colour! I love how my hair feels after 😊 and enjoy dinner! Do you try new places or like to go to your favourites? I love trying new places 🤩.

@DownMoreThanUp I have been having EMDR for the last 6 weeks and ex friend was the focus. Like a friend of mine said, it's like my brain is dumping all the trauma. It's been a journey, I love EMDR and it is helping but it's also revealing how my life literally stopped when my relationship with my best friend and (non romantic) soul mate, and my Godchildren. I have not been able to move forward and this has been a hard revelation.

Today being Fathers' day was also something that caused some sadness. I haven't yet grieved my father, I suspect I may not. But having Fathers' day thrust in my face with all the advertising, social media and emails it's been depressing.

I am so tired of my life!

@Chasingsunsets No I hadn't seen that colour lily either. Both flowers are in full bloom now, they are stunning. I hope the others I planted flower soon too.

The week was not too bad, I hit a wall on Friday though and have been low since. As I mentioned in my post to @DownMoreThanUp having thoughts of ex friend and realising I have stopped living as I should has been a downer.

Onwards and upwards 🥰
