My highlight today! Look what I found on the same tree around the same time as yesterday! I saw at first the blue faced honey eaters - then I noticed behind my friendly fig bird was there!! So sweet! Another bird chased them all away so didn’t get many pics but they were so cute!

Did you know young blue face honey eaters faces are green? I didn’t but thought it was pretty cool when I saw green faced ones and didn’t know what the green colour meant 😊

@Chasingsunsets , so it's an expresso coffee with matcha, and I also added additional matcha foam on top. It tasted really good, but I couldn't finish it. It was too much @Chasingsunsets

But it was a nice treat 🙂

This is the first time I've had the matcha expresso. I usually get the iced matchamisu latte - that's a mix between matcha and tiramisu.

I really like matcha. I know people think it's a fad, but I seem to really like the flavour.

My highlight for the day has been for my little assistance dog in training, Hannah, getting the tick of approval from the assessor today.

It was her 6-month assessment where they essentially run us through a mini PAT (public access test). She did really well and got the tick of approval in all the necessary areas. Eg: Health, bond with me, aptitude, attitude, ability, suitability, willingness, temperament and training.

So the assessor said we are well on track and keep going as we are. All going well, come February we will pass the official PAT and become a fully accredited AD team 😊💗🐕

So now I can relax a bit and breathe again. Been stressing about this assessment for weeks. Should have trusted my special girl. 💕

Today I spoke kindly to my harsh thoughts.

Such a pretty bird @Chasingsunsets . I think i will have to make a lame joke. Maybe the baby blue-faced get so much honey on their face it turns green??

I will give you all my matcha @tyme lol. I dont like tea, and especially matcha as it seems to be stronger flavour.

As for being a fad, the Japanese certainly don't have it as a fad! 😊 nothing wrong with loving matcha tea/flavour.

For me, I love Speculaaspasta. Aka "biscoff" under the English-speaking label. I first saw/tried it in Belgium back in 2013, and fell in love. I thought the idea of a biscuit-flavoured spread for your bread was silly, but in my tradition I still had to try it. I loved it! So I brought home a jar. Then I could not find it in Aus back then (other than the very expensive Dutch shop in Liverpool), so I had to buy the biscuits and make it myself which i did for years until they brought it out in Aus a number of years back. And since then it has of course become a "fad" for many people - much like matcha. But for me, its a household staple treat. 😊🥰

Did I mention a highlight for myself today? I have already forgotten if I did! (The sheep were yesterday). Today I am glad I have 2 clean dogs, and both were well behaved at the groomers. 😍 theyre so floofy now.
