The NSW mental health forum was great. We're kicking goals for a local hospital. I was going to go to a funeral tomorrow but can't face it! I feel really bad about it but it is what it is. I'm going home where I feel safe. I've been invited for dinner at a neighbours place so will do that instead. 💚

@heartathome please try not to feel bad about not being able to go to the funeral. I've not been able to manage any of the funerals from people I've lost, not even my niece's. You need to look after yourself sweet and you not going doesn't mean that you don't care, you're protecting yourself and that's ok. Lots of love and hugs to you sweetheart ❤️.

Thank you so much @Taali and @MissGremlin for your kind words! I thought I was the only one who can't deal with funerals. I really wanted to go to support my friend and I had all intentions of going. But then, my anxiety became worse after each passing day. Today it became almost unbearable so I texted her and told her that I couldn't face it. I wanted to be honest and not make up some excuse because I don't like lying. I hope she understands! I can be a bit blunt. Just watching a movie that my son has put on, called Sling Bl*de. Looks quite interesting. I hope you both have a peaceful night. Much love 💚

They are alot in many ways so I'm sure your friend will understand, I'm proud of you for being honest with her and looking out for yourself.
