It was really nice 😊 We just had afternoon tea at my grandmother’s house with everyone. I’m glad you’ve had some time to relax too, sometimes we really do need those quiet weekends and relaxing days

That sounds really nice @Nala2022 I love visiting mine too. She loves cooking and always sends us home with so much food 😅. Don’t get to see her or many of my family that much anymore, wish I had a private jet to just jet around hehe. Enjoy the time with them it’s so precious isn’t it!!

A few laughs with different people in myt life... including my son... cos I was blind and could not see something that ws obvious to him... and some tradie types working in my garden ... chopping down a palm tree, that just got too big for my little block. It doesn't even justify calling it a yard, cos its not much bigger than one yard. lol

Hi @Chasingsunsets uni is going well at the moment. I've been focusing on preparing for my essay for it that's due in 3 weeks time. I haven't started drafting a paragraph yet since I had to collect all the evidence and stuff first to best prepare for the topic I chose. The previous assignment for sociology I did that was due early this month was the Life History Report and I really enjoyed that one! The essay that I'm doing right now, not so much, because....it's an essay lol

To be honest I haven't really been enjoying the Saturday program that I started joining since early this year, and there's times where I have had to take some of those days off including last Saturday and tomorrow. But those breaks are really needed and it's important that I do what is best for myself and my own wellbeing. I don't think I plan to re-apply/re-enrol for that program again next year, but we'll see. This week hasn't been the greatest week as I was telling the Support Manager about someone in the program who I'm in the same class with who I've been getting the impression that she has something against me. And the Support Manager's responses to my emails about it were disappointing to say the least.

I hope that your support manager comes to the party and actually does, just that, support you

I really am the opportunity to be part of this conference

I'm glad you had a couple of laughs, it's apparent good for the soul

I caught up with an old friend who had a brain tumour and complex mental and medical conditions which have left her quite debilitated

I'm ashamed to say that I've not caught up with her due to my own mental health issues

But we've now made a time to try to take her out next week

That's definitely my highlight ✨️
