What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Not sure if that is the right way to put it. i was overcome by believing lies about myself and my loved ones. Believing those lies robbed me of my good life and handed over to the fate of that pit. Having me wonder how did i get here? And more importantly how do i get out of here? With all my good life gone.

So yes if there was identity abuse, it had been by myself more than anything. My own rejection mindset, the conditional love of my mum and no no love at all from my dad. had me trying to be someone, i thought i had to be, but not really was. So down there facing myself at my worst, i left that self image behind. A self totally overcome by its own negative self image having failed its own standards. Those lies which now had me judge me to my own hell i left there. Not going back there no need. Good life can be cultivated even in regions similar to Siberia.

Yes, they are beautiful birds indeed. When I lived on the Gold Coast I had a couple of them who lived in the tree outside my bedroom window. The tree used to have these gorgeous red blossoms and carpeted the driveway in them.

I finally got some red in the sunrise! I slept much better on a couple of new meds last night. Being able to get back to sleep and get more than three hours a night is such a relief! Working at Vinnies today. I hope you all have a good day! 💚

Morning everyone. I had a rocky ride last night so will be home recovering apart from my mental health support worker today.
