What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

  • bit sore fm gym yest, but good sore.

just off to pick up some stuff should have done weeks ago.

what to look forward to ?

  • withdraw more from my super
  • think going for an afternoon's drive shortly, bit sick of 4 walls lol

It's a slow day here. I'm working at Vinnies tomorrow morning which will give me something to do till lunch. I could go and see a friend this afternoon but don't feel up to it. A good friend of mine is going through a hard time atm and their mood seems to have affected mine. It's only because I care. That's life, hey. I've just taken a relaxant to help with the anxiety and shaking. I might have a shower a bit later. That will probably help me to feel a bit better as well. I always have the sunrise tomorrow to look forward to! 🙂

Afternoon @heartathome, hope you can get some relief and feel better soon. A sunrise to look after is a pretty good thing to look forward to 🤩

I was hoping for a productive day, slept in longer than I thought but I needed it and I enjoyed it hehe ☺️. Managed to get some washing on and it’s a nice day so going to tackle the bed and hope to get the sheets and doona done!! Sitting outside at the moment watching the dog sunbake with her ball 🙊😎🐶, she is very happy hehe

Core and cardio mainly @Chasingsunsets got sick of getting injured all the time with intermittent exercise. Got an exercise physiologist.

Oh probs Beach towns Northern Yorke Peninsula. Spencer Gulf @Chasingsunsets shopping, sightseeing, take away food, wash doona not supposed to do in my washing machine

Nice @TAB, six pack coming your way 😎😂. That’s so good! Actually I have signed up to Pilates out of all things to work on strength and toning. Got some muscles imbalances which I have wanted to correct for a while and gym I think just strengthened the already more stronger of the muscles I reckon 🙈😂! Never tried Pilates so got to see how it goes, booked to do it with an exercise physiologist! How do you find your exercise physiologist? I’ve never seen one before so something different! I’m looking forward to it but always a bit anxiety provoking when I am going somewhere new 🤪. @AuntGlow may like this update too ☺️

Oh yeah that’s annoying re doona, sometimes on a raining day I go to the laundry mat with the big washing machines and bonus they have dryers so I do like that on the rainy days 😎
