What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Trying not to push it too far and end up with another uncomfortable night.

Today's highlight

Ot was all of the day tbh

Woke up early. Did a small walk but gave up coz I wanted to save my energy for a bike ride.
Dropped partner at work. Went on bike ride. Got zaatar and cheese and coffee afterwards at new fav place.
Handed smh to older bloke who goes there I noticed. Said to him "Here is the real news" coz he was reading daily telegraph. He laughed and said "ah good I was waiting for you to finish".
Came home.
Picked up partner at lunch. Then home for lunch which is always better than her work kitchen... toxic place.

Dropped her back. GP for my hand which may be a hairline fracture. Have to get CT scan.

Then had coffee with mum and her cousin who had MND. He looks worse than last time but he is still going strong. His wife is very supportive. Genuine love.

Now home and then picking up partner then I'll head out to see friendlyjordies with a friend.

Grateful for the whole day tbh.

Wanted to do music practice but oh well.. haha.
