What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

!@Shaz51 despite the living dinosaur situation also said its a paradise, few hrs drives been a trip to work a few times so i mark that pretty close

@AuntGlow your nieghbours most likely enjoy the sound your singing i imagine your voice would be something well outside the ordinary, me anything from reef to hallelujah to boulevard of broken dreams depends on frame of mind and what i need to release really, not extravagant but passionate haha

Swan valley sounds so good, haven’t heard of the place you went but hope it was good!! What did you get for morning tea?

The honey sounds good too were there different flavours of honey to choose, cool they were shaped like a bear!!

I am awake in the middle of the night.

Struggling to sleep.

My honey is bush honey flavour.

Looking forward to having some but I am still using up some supermarket honey. What have you got on today? Later this morning I am going to the movies and I have a psychiatrist appointment this afternoon.

I don’t mind where things are posted or on what threads so definitely no stress there 😊 I am also getting the hang of things here too!!

Being able to do a handstand

Skipping with a skipping rope.

Touch my toes with straight legs.

These are amazing goals!! @PeppyPatti I can't do a handstand, I have always been too spooked hahah let me know how your progress goes. 👏

My energy is quite low today, I think I might be getting a bit sick! But how are you? 💛

It's a very old head injury -- clinically dead 7 times coma 6 weeks over 40 years ago but the severity will always be with me but I got myself better.

Peanut is my new dog. He's 6 months old now. He is my DARLING.

My husband and I are his unpaid carers because he is a very good good person and we went to high school with him. He has a diagnosis of schizophrenia.

As you can see @REDLINEZ750 --- my life is pretty small.

My husband just took Peanut and himself away for a few hours.

@PeppiPatty to survive that 4o years ago was definetly stuff left for you to do in the world, it would be slim chances getting through that level of brain injury in these days!

when you first mentioned peanut didnt know if was pet or child so erred on side of caution haha

how does PeppiPatty enjoy her time to herself?
