What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

had 3mth checkup after heart procedure . All Good. well was 5 hour round trip , ha

You’ll like oysters like @GezzaP hey, do you guys cook them or eat them raw?
I am glad to hear your checkup went well, that’s reassuring!! Big trip though you must be a bit tired now 🤪, no backpackers today? Lol

Yes I treated myself to a dozen oysters will eat for lunch tomorrow @TAB . Can’t really afford it but too bad I indulged. Glad to hear your appt went well. Long drive. Relax after.

oh gawd, not , bought a 'big issue' at major shopping centre that was my limit today. not bought on in over 30 years. only had $10 , dude wasnt going to give change, so I walked off

didnt realise cover price $9 now, ha ha lol

can do cooked for change up but 99% raw I would not cook them myself re oysters @GezzaP so if i had chance of kilpatrick or nothing would take kilpatrick

think get 3 doz tomoz now lol ..........

I love oysters @Chasingsunsets . I eat them raw - straight out of the shell! It’s an indulgent treat. I can’t really afford it but too bad.
