What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Thanks @Jynx 🤩, no walks tonight unfortunately and that is unheard of 🤪. Feels very strange!! But I’ll do nose work with the girl 🐶 that tires her out in a different way 😊.

My day has been chill, hanging with kitties and had lasagne for dins, was just a pre-made one but was pretty tasty 😊

My highlight today was that I got a new couch delivered. I haven’t bought a new couch since I was feeding my babies. They are all adults now, so it has been longer than 25 years ago. The couch arrived at 8:30am though and I was in the shower when hubby came in and told me the men were arriving in 10 minutes. Not ideal

It will be nice to have the new furniture @Oaktree - hope it's comfy.

I'm tossing up whether to re-cover my old sofa, get a new one or let the shabby one see me out.

Hehe @Jynx I think I struggle just as much as her with no walks 🤣

she enjoyed her nose work I think! Her favourite thing to find is a ball but that’s too easy. I work with different objects now. Today was a old wooden spoon that needed to be thrown out so now it’s a training object haha.

low on energy so not too many runs but she’s cuddled up to me now after eating the last of my icepole ☺️, so must be a bit tired haha.
