@Chasingsunsets I always love your posts! Those cockies are amazing. When I was in my 20's I lived across the road from a large park and the black cockatoos used to swarm it. You'd hear them for miles.

I love our galahs and cockatoos, they are noisy and make a mess but I just adore them!

@GezzaP yeah they're awfully resistant to change, wee kitty cats!! But they get there in the end. I try to keep mine inside nowadays cos there's foxes in my neighbourhood 😫

Mine only goes in the front yard. I worry more about snakes than foxes but expect there are foxes too. Have seen snakes.

I haven't worked for almost 2 years and I am nervous to re-enter the workforce as well. I am not sure what to say I have been doing as I worry that I may be looked over if I say that I needed a mental break. I am thinking I might just say I had a career break and did some study. I also don't know how to go about getting referees as the last ones I had were from jobs I had back in 2019 and 2021. The last place I worked didn't bother with references - I should have taken that as a warning lol!

What is your new position, if you want to share? Hopefully the nerves will disappear quickly for you too. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers xo

I am okay, still studying records information & management. I am behind by a couple of weeks so I am cramming to catch up. The RTO I am studying through is very good with their support. They called me to make sure I was okay, and have told me to work at my pace, not to get too overwhelmed and to book a coaching call if necessary.

Aside from that I am looking at new flooring, couches and curtains for my lounge room which got flooded last week. One thing about having the room flood, I get to choose new stuff, yay!!

I can't justify buying one though as I have over 40 handbags in various sizes and styles. I used to collect shoes and handbags before I started working in transport and had to wear steel caps and not heels. I am dying to get back into working in an office!
