What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Love all your knowledge @Adge could talk for days about birds and animals haha. Thanks so much! I didn’t realise you liked frogs too!! I love green tree frogs 🐸

interesting about the pigeon 😂

Interesting about the peach faces!! I wonder if they would be smart enough to go back at all for bird seed or water at the residence! I agree though they looked in pretty good condition. Glad they have each other 😊- confused me a lot when I saw them out in the open! Omg today I think I unknowingly interrupted some recreating between two birds!! Not sure I have seen such a thing between birds😂!! I was on my walk and saw what I thought was a bird hit by a car on the road still moving so went to go and get it and it was two birds so when I got close enough they flew away 😂😂. It was two of the same species of bird so yes no idea what was going on there 🤭. Hope you have had a good day 🦜

Honest my wife is a gem. Not someone to just treat badly or ignore. She is worth much more than gold and sliver, unlike most people in my life, including my parents, she loves me true! My whole family is. Past hurts undealt with, is the core of the issues we are facing. Everyone trying their best blowing up in our faces at a later date.

Our troubled truth we suffer together is that my illness got hold of my love for her, and the love for my kids, and i basically chased all of them away my love over the last 30 years. Misunderstanding everything!😭

We are both praying about this and doing deep soul searching so that we can make sure our relationship will also survive this storm. We have many others.True love is worth fighting for.

If i am mad, she is too! Who cares? As long as we can love!

@to be honest i let left all the grannies to the birds. Noramlly we pick two 25 kg cases each year at least and turn them in to apple sausce. Both of us home made unsweetened apple sauce. Now we wont have any.☹️

The oranges and mandarins are growing larger tho,and will begin to colour end May i assume, and i did pick some pomegranates last week. They were good this year although not overly large.

Hey everyone! How’s your Tuesday evening going?
What has been something good in your day today? 🫶


Our walk started off a bit funny! Indi 🐶 found me a squishy sensory toy at the beach and brought it to me to throw 😂. As good as a ball she thought 😂😂. At first I could not work out what she was bringing me 🤣. If anyone knows what sensory item this is let me know, I think I might get one- without sand hehe. It melts to your hand, kind of cool!
