I'm just now putting this into words: over and over again …… It’s taken years before marrying my husband and the 7 years with him to understand the lengths and depravity my mother goes to to hate me

It’s a heavy thing to admit that a parent is capable of that level of "depravity," but the timeline of my life with my husband has made it impossible to ignore anymore. I’m finally seeing the truth after all this time

@PeppyPatti Have you cut ties with your mum? If I was in your shoes I would. I wouldn't allow her to use anymore of my time or energy.

And you totally realise that there is nothing wrong with you, and that's why she treats you like she does. It means that there is something deeply wrong with her.

Hello @AuntGlow Yes. The season has definitely changed! I'm not keen on the cold! I go on my morning walk every day to see the sunrise. The time change has upset that. I might have to change my night meds time to get up earlier to see it. I'll work it out though!

I'm stable and good! Nothing to complain about AuntGlow. 🙂 I'm going up to see my old partner to spend some time with him tomorrow. I hope to be there for a week, but we'll see. Thanks for checking in! Sending many hugs and much love🤗 💚

This counts as something kind of small right?

I had a little box of cans to cash in. There was a kid in the local area collecting them for pocket money. I messaged him, but he never turned up so the box just sat there for months. Then I had another little collection and found out someone else was collecting them for charity; she came once, but not twice and now I have two boxes full of cans. But yesterday I spent a nice day doing nice things including cashing all those in for $12.30 and I've decided to keep doing it for myself. Not for the $$ (honestly, it costs more than that in fuel right now!) but it just felt really rewarding to feed those cans and bottles through the thingy and know that I was unloading a lot of rubbish that I'd been holding on to for no real good reason

Today’s adventure: The vet 🙈😳

I clocked it straight away as soon as we walked in. Not a real fan, I get a bit worried.

When the vet called me and mum stood up, I like to head for the exit however I don’t take too much convincing to meet the vet.

Mum’s been putting drops in my eye the last few days because it looked like I scratched my eye but she wasn’t too convinced, she couldn’t see anything. (I’ve scratched my eyes a few times before- she says I like to roll in the grass with my eyes open 🙊)

Anyway, she spotted something in my eye this afternoon so off we went to the vet and guess what, I had a massive grass seed hiding under my third eyelid! 😲

The vet said I was such a good patient and let her take it out no worries. The vet and mum were surprised my eye looked so good and wasn’t scratched at all just the grass seed! They were so surprised that I didn’t really complain about my eye whilst the grass seed was in there aswell!

I feel heaps better now 🐶🤩. Still not loving the eye drops but I only have to have them for 3 more days, I also get lots of treats when I have them which is awesome! ☀️

Mum added this was a very expensive grass seed 🤭🤪🐶

Before the vets we saw a beautiful fig bird, mum loves them! We also saw a beautiful rainbow on our late walk 🥰🌈

Hahah thanks @MissGremlin did put a spanner 🔧 in my day but so glad it was found! It was buried so deep as grass seeds always like to do I am so glad it didn’t try bury into her eye and just covered entirely by her third eyelid 🤪. Gosh our 4 legged friends keep us on our toes!

She’s asleep snoring in fact and I’m still awake 🤭.

The expensive sock and grass seed on the shelf no more where they came from hehe ☺️

Here’s some frogs from tonight! I did think of you as-well as I remember one night I went out looking for some for ya and they must have all gone 😂
