What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! I wouldn't have a clue what's in them @Mustang67 My friend makes them all the time and I was going to help her. All I know is that they're yummy 'healthy' little chocolate balls, coated in coconut! We're putting a peppermint flavouring in this time. Oh yes. I think you could put all kinds of things in them, depending how big you want to make them. I like the little bite size version. No cooking involved which is my kind of cooking! 😁

Bitter sweet day form me today. i saw my wife and daughter we went out and had lunch and a beach walk - it was fabulous. i enjoyed it so much, as did my wife and daughter. Just a few hours tho.

It bit me hard when time was up and separation was real again.😭

(Why do i feed the pain and not the goodness we lived those hours?)

Today my highlight was enjoying some passion fruit gelato that my best friend bought for me. I have had it sitting in the back of my freezer for about a month. I ate half of it. It’s only a 500ml tub. So yummy…

No way @Mustang67 Milo bliss balls! I'm in!! The friend that 'supervises' me, tells me the ingredients as I'm going along but I can't remember what we put in it. She's a health nut so it wouldn't be milo! 😆 Thanks for the photo. I'm drooling. 💚
