What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Well thank you, my friend. I felt a bit anxious, to be honest, about whether I should be completely honest about crying in the car, but it wasn't a happy morning for me. I had planned to come today, and was in doubt if I should really go, but I’m glad I went, as being around kind, familiar people made a difference for me.

I hope you have had a reasonable good day, any plans for the evening? I should really start cook dinner now.. 🙂

Ahh, I love ducks, they’re so cute and funny, especially the way they waddle around, and make different calls to communicate with each other. 🦆🦆

@REDLINEZ750 hey Red love love those ducks! we have the same type where we live. i love to watch them waddle. we used to have pet ducks. a pekin, indian runner, 2 x mallards and one other i cant remember the breed. they were such characters.

@REDLINEZ750 that picture looks so peaceful. And seeing the ducks reminds me of being at the caravan park and a duck walked past with all her little duckling in tow.

The frangipani holds a special place in my heart. My parents had two outside their old fibro home on the Central Coast that are still there, years later. And now I have a small frangipani tree in a pot that I got from those old trees! It's a nice memory for me and puts a smile on my face!

I know you're dealing with impossible feelings and thoughts at the moment, so I won't ask how you are. You're here, you're looking after Casper and still doing what is needed! That's got to account for something! 💚

Beautiful, except for the beetle. That gave me the creaps seeing one up close. @MissGremlin I love the Monarch Butterfly, they are so beautiful.

I love the fact that you think out the box when taking photos, I try to do the same thing There are things that we take for granted that are beautiful in their own way. Like the dandelion or for @TAB (Taraxacum officinale) Lol 😂🤣

Keep those photos coming, I love seeing them.
