Hi @Chasingsunsets nice to see you again! I haven’t been active on here much this week as I’ve been busy but being busy is good ☺️🌿

so many things happened this week so far: went to a concert (I had so much fun there!!), had an appointment with my new OT, have started working on an assignment (on a bachelors degree but I’m doing just one unit per trimester), and today I’ll be going to get a therapeutic massage ☺️

next Monday, I’ll be going to the Moomba festival with my support worker

and I got a phone call from the Pre-Training review officer regarding a TAFE course I’ve applied last week (I’ve applied for the Cert 4 of Mental Health Peer Work) and looks like all is good to go, so I’ll be having a 1:1 meeting with the teacher on Microsoft teams next Thursday, before I get accepted into the course I’m pretty sure. I plan on doing this one part time too just to balance it better in between studying TAFE and bachelors.

It can be nice to be busy some times hey! The concert sounds awesome, remind me bachelor in- was it to finish off the accounting- book keeping or something else, sorry that didn't stick- just my brain 🤪

@Chasingsunsets i ended up not doing the accounting/bookkeeping course I mentioned before that I thought I was gonna plan on doing, that plan fell through. But regardless, I’m so looking forward to be starting the mental health peer work course (hopefully I do get accepted after the meeting with the teacher) & I have just started the trimester of a bachelors degree I’m currently doing which is a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology).

My highlight is from yesterday when I managed to get out of the house and go into a supermarket. I wrote about it later in the day and while I felt pretty terrible at the time, I was proud that I achieved something. 😺
