It’s a type of dominos game. game consists of 12 rounds.

ive played 2 entire games so far. first time 4 people played.

last night there would have been up to 30 people playing.

good social interaction plus keeps one concentrating. I started to feel overwhelmed due to number of people there, that stopped once game started. Knowing 4 of the others on the table helped also

atm each Tuesday afternoon for 3 - 4 hours will be Mexican Trains. Each Wednesday morning is croquet with game starting at either 9, 9:45, 10:30 or 11:15. 2 games played so far, 1 win, 1 loss.

thursday night for - 4 hours will be Mexican Trains.

I’ve been to one trivia game in the afternoon where team numbers were not well balanced. Is only once a month. Waiting to see what happens this Wednesday.

saturday just gone I spent couple hours starting to try to learn the basics of playing lawn bowls. I’m planning on doing the same each Saturday morning. This Saturday will depend if I have any side effects of new meds, meds that will eliminate the virus in my system which is primary cause of stomach cancer.

Monday I’ve got electrician coming to install external power point in preparation for external motorised alfresco blinds. Blinds not expected to be ready for install for another 6 - 8 weeks.

sounds like Thursday night is Mexican train night hehe. It’s funny how our brains can switch from anxious then- boom game on, how good. How are you finding the game?

I love lawn bowls!! Esp bare foot lawn bowls haha. Sorry to hear about your stomach cancer, is that still there as well or in remission now fighting this other virus.

Things with me are ok, thanks for the checkin 🙂 these few months are always a bit more challenging, but it’s all ok😊. Still not a lot happening my end, just lots of work really! I had been trying to think of other stuff to fill you in but nah not much on atm lol, I do have a birthday I need to start organising, but stressed about it as organising and executive functioning is not my strengths 🤪, a lot of stress but I am sure it will all work out and fun will be had 🥳. Yep also still pretty warm here haha, very glad for aircons and fans that’s for sure lol!!

This week I’m on a course of antibiotics which should stop the virus @Chasingsunsets. Virus that my GP has said was first detected early last year. I can’t be 100% certain, fairly sure though I wasn’t given the meds at that stage.

impact of the virus if left untreated is negative impact on my stomach lining, this leading to stomach ulcers and possibly cancer. With possibility the virus not having been treated when found last year plus the pain it has generated panic attack and all the “what if” worse case scenario thoughts. This time 6yrs ago my husband was fighting a loosing battle with cancer that had slowly been growing for years and not detected until it was too late. Memories all too fresh in my mind

if current pain is still there this time next week I will need to see my GP fairly quickly. If meds are successful and pain stops I don’t see GP until May
