What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

I was in a training session today @SaltwaterSoul

So most of the day was pretty full on. I'm pretty sure I tuned out after lunch. My brain was fried!

@SaltwaterSoul the support button needs a support button! It's been working on and off for me the past couple of days.

I hope you get to rest and relax this weekend too. Those heavy feelings can be so debilitating and extra self care is definitely needed.

Here's hoping we both get some peace.
It's going to be hot here in the Valley of the Swans as I call where I live (east metro area of Perth) with 38 tomorrow and 39 Sunday. I am hoping my motivation stays long enough for me to do some housework.

Good morning everyone!

The sky is bright blue today, and I just had breakfast. I slept well last night, which feels like a bonus, and I got myself out for a morning walk. The walk was peaceful and quiet. With each step, I felt a little lighter. I saw a few wallabies hopping around in the bush, and I accidentally walked through a spider web, not the most fun, but thankfully no spiders in sight. I paused for a minute or two on a big rock and looked up at the trees… the giants. Yesterday everything felt impossible, and today I still feel really tired. But being surrounded by nature for an hour this morning was grounding.

How is everyone doing today? Wishing you all a lovely weekend. 💛

Wooow, that’s a fair bit of heat you’ve got there, stay hydrated, mate 😊
It won’t be quite as hot here, I think around 30 degrees but no excuse for me to not stay hydrated. I seriously need to drink more water..I hope you got a good night's sleep, I'm guessing it's still pretty early in Perth? Have a lovely weekend and I hope you get around to do a bit of housework, I just put a load of wash in and now I got to hang it out....better do it before the heat I guess.

Sounds exhausting. Training can be fun and exciting but too much of it, makes your head spin. I hope you get to wind down during the weekend, and charge your battery up. 😊
