What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone,

Had a few really tough days lately but today I had a better day.

My highlight today was returning to my volunteer project for the first time this year. I’ve been volunteering there for about a year now, and the moment I walked in, I was met with such kindness. People told me they had missed me and said how happy they were to see me back. It felt comforting to return to a place where I’m not expected to be anything other than myself.

I stayed for three hours, and the time passed more easily than I expected. When I finally got into my car to drive home, I realised I felt better than I had over the last two days, more lighter, and a happier.
I was grateful for the reminder that there are places in this world where I am welcomed, where I am liked for who I am, and where coming back feels a little bit like coming home...🙂

What an amazing can holder! When I first glimpsed at the pic, I thought the glass table was water and the log was floating on water!!!!

Sounds like a big enough day, especially going to the dentist! 😬 I'm glad no cavities and just a clean. I have to have injections to clean my few teeth because of gum sensitivity. Spag Bol is one of my favourite comfort foods, not being sweets. Glad you got to spend time with your daughter! 💜

II chewed my nails. So much high anxiety in the past 2 weeks I think I took it out on my therapist.

I saw her two days ago. My family are scarcity narcissists and my therapy has been about surviving them

But today I. Having a coffee and a lovely salad for lunch.

.money screws people up.

I can relate to the anxiety and taking it out on the therapist. My poor therapist has copped heaps from me over the years! I hope your therapist understands! They're trained to. Are you out for lunch or having it at home? 💜

@REDLINEZ750 that is awesome! I love it! That's the kind of thing I'd want on my outdoor table, if I had one. I have a candle holder made from driftwood, I'll have to dig it out and post a photo of it.

Once I start renovating my house I want to build a larger patio area and have an outdoor table that I can put something like my candle holder or your can holder on.
