What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

A man who forgot I have a grey haired grouchy husband was trying to pick me up here where I live and he's dying from cancer and my husband brought me to his flat to clean it but I'm too sick to do it ATM

And he said I look like a teddy bear.

When I had my bikinis one's they are absolutely great the shorties are fab and so are the bottoms

For us plush and over 50

Oh I haven't tried this one on yet

Oh yes I have this is my favourite not the red ones the green ones except I look much bigger than this little Twiggy

I love your bathing suit, I have been looking at them too. Lol I am definitely not Twiggy! I like the cornflower blue top and bottoms too

Haha @Flutterbug9 it is so true! 🤣 I'm OK to sometimes make an ass out of myself if its in a social and friendly way 😋. I did ask on one of the thread what made the trains Mexican 🤣 (I forget if that was here or other thread).

Hi guys

My highlight for today is that I just had my first Telehealth session with the new psych and it went really well! Definitely has met my expectations for what I want in actual therapy for a loooong ass time 🙏🌻

@Blackcloud Just reading now your reply re: the first session of the program. 🙂 I am glad it went alright. I can understand the anxiety around having to interest with others in future sessions - but I have hope that over the weeks, with the support worker also, you will slowly be able to get to know a few of the other students (even if just a mechanical "hello" to start with?) and as their face becomes familiar and they feel safer maybe be more at ease slowly. Remember all of us on this forum are people too -- I hope the people in that program are as friendly as our friends here are too 😊.

@Chasingsunsets Well done on making the bed the other day! 😊

My paint by numbers.. I am not sure how long they take me. A long time! lol. I take my time and do not rush. But I also stop & start doing them, so I don't really know how long it takes as sometimes I am multi-tasking (e.g. forum and painting, or cafe and painting) and stop for 10-30min at a time lol.
