Well done @AlwaysMyself can definitely be a mission, I know how it feels to catchup fully 🤩, I strayed from my routine of how I catchup so I am a bit all over the shop and still have a lot to catchup on over the forum but I’ll get there 🤩🌻

That’s really interesting alwaysmyself, I think that is pretty powerful to be what you haven’t been able to receive when you needed it. Although sorry that had been part of your story, definitely understand the struggle to get what you need.

Yes exactly like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel @Chasingsunsets I just get so lazy with the long name, plus it feels a bit unfortunate having the King Charles bit in the name... I know they're not named after the current King Charles but surely there are sweeter names they could've chosen to match their sweet temperaments 😅

Your bird photos are amazing! and of course the sweet ones of your dog on the beach, looks like a blast!

Wow, great shots! That looks amazing. I like the Brahminy Kites, is it a type of eagle? The one eating leaf looks interesting, what species is that?

I don’t have a picture, but I went for an early morning walk today, I needed a little boost. The sunrise was breathtaking. When the first rays of sun touched my face, I felt completely at peace. A group of parrots was calling to each other, and for a moment, it felt like the world had paused. I’m not usually a morning person and had to drag myself out, but I felt so grateful to witness the first light of the day. That's my highlight for today. 🙂

Hahah @Ru-bee definitely agree re how long there breed name is 😂😂. I didn’t actually think about it like that re how long it is because I don’t have to say it all the time but see it now haha. When you first mentioned I was like oh I haven’t heard of that breed hehe then google told me and I was like ahhhh I know now. But yesss they could have chosen a sweeter name I agree, the breed is beautiful 😊. I do feel lucky my girls breed is an easy one to say, kelpie x cattle dog 🐶.

I wonder what colour your girl is and how old? Animals are the best you’ll likely see me saying this all over the forum many times 😂

Thanks re the birds! It was pretty unexpected really, the two in the pic are likely a breeding pair and don’t think I have seen two in a tree just hanging about, it was pretty cool. I like these kites as-well as when they are flying in the sky you can easily identify them due to there colouring and tell them apart from other kites which is always a bonus ☺️

Oh yess Indi loves a good run at the beach too. I try not give her tennis balls as they aren’t good for there teeth so for all her years of life (10 this year!! 😮) I have been seeking alternative balls to tennis balls 🤣. She found the tennis ball while we were done there! I do think they are still her favourite, either that or she liked it more as she found it 😂.

Yess I’d say the Brahminy Kites are one of my favourites! They come under birds of prey, like eagles but in the kite family, a few different kites around. A couple of months ago I saw my first black shouldered kite which was very cool!

Oh yeah that little cocoon thingy ends up being a moth!! Thanks to @TABs help 😊. I had seen one on one of my previous walks recently and wondered what lived in it, then last night walked past one when I could see they were eating the leaf how cool!

You paint such a lovely picture of your walk!! I’d love to go for an early walk but find it hard to get up that early haha. That’s so awesome you did! Bird life is definitely more active in the mornings that’s for sure! I feel what you mean about feeling at peace. I often just stop in the middle of where I am walking completely surrounded by plants, trees, birds in nature it’s just so peaceful and comforting!! I wish I could have that feeling wherever I went ☀️.

The birds you saw and heard would have been awesome!! They can be a noisy bunch hehe. Such pretty birds 🙏

I wouldn't have any idea what kind of turtles they were @Chasingsunsets . Smallish ones. There is a bay around here that is known for turtles! I don't know any more about them other than they were cute coming up for air. I have seen bigger ones near the opening of the ocean. 💜

oh I love the little turtles too! I see them snorkeling sometimes too when at one area I go. I always bring my snorkel and mask wherever I go have a spare in the car for friends ☺️.

@AlwaysMyself yeah she was something special, my oldest son was 15 and youngest was 9 she was part of the family. i still see her beside me at times and when that random pic of her doing the old come near this car thing i had to post.
