Sat down for a coffee and painting in advance of my cafe-friends coming. Spend the morning sleeping and then went to another friends to help them with something and chatted abit.

@Glisten that is a good question! Lol. Its always a matter of "what do i do with it after?"

Sometimes i give them away for free on my local area social media. If i really like it (or someone else i know does) then it gets kept. I quite like this deer, so i will prob keep it - but not sure where it will go hmmm. Prob have to buy a cheap plastic frame for it too. I have lots of paintings/photos i need to hang already (not of my own ones).

One i did i gave to my mum and hangs in her loungeroom lol. Another one i gave to a workmate and hangs in her study.

I think i have another one or two stretched-canvas ones that i have not decided if to give or keep yet.

I do them because they occupy my time. Until i get a sore butt or back lol. And theyre good price for people to buy me for xmas or bday gifts too, so i have a collection of ones to do.

My highlight today was going out with a few girlfriends for a picnic. It was my first summer dip in the river! We went for a trip down the river in a tinny.as well and spotted turtles while getting a run down on the local area. Its been a good day! 💚
