i have always loved that about Pink Floyd songs. They are not meaningless dribble on a catchy tune. But well thought through lyrics brought with masterful musical ability. A very talented group musically, And just like Supertramp, Metallica, Deep Purple, and maybe a halve dozen others bands like them, Pink Floyd, have brought us a lot of timeless songs, and have been the very heart of rock and roll as far as i'm concerned.

remember The Wall the film ? Do I ever. That was the night I got dumped by my punk boyfriend with the very high voice.
he put on his tartan pants. They had safety pins. It was 1982 I was 14. We went to see the film and after we went to the Supreme Court Gardens. He tried to take my clothes off. It was 8.30 pm. I think I might have said, oh I don’t want to. He dumped me.

I was dropped.
I was not cool anymore.

@PeppyPatti i like how you call him a punk boyfriend! i call someone with such a mentality a sunk one. i'm glad he dumped you otherwise you would have sunk along with him. ( These kind of partners are certainly not worth undressing for they just make you feel taken and violated afterwards.😭)

It sounds like you watched the movie 4 years before i did. We watched it at my home after i got told about it on college while studying social science. My wife sister and old friend were there with us. My wife and her sister thought it was a weird movie, but my wife did like the music. Her friend and me were impressed however, i remember discussing it together afterwards.

i bought the double LP the same week if i remember rightly.👍

Good morning friends. i got a bit bored and went for a fly this morning. Luckily i have control over day and night otherwise i would have not been able to show you Albany from the air😁

That's so cool @DownMoreThanUp . How many hours do you have up? Whose plane, is it? Do you often go for a fly? I thought the pictures were great! I used to jump out of a plane many years ago. I've got eleven jumps up my belt and I'd never do it again. It was supposed to help with my fear of heights. It did not! 😂💛

@heartathome Its only Microsoft's 2020 Flight Simulator plane, but i do really enjoy playing it, that's when i feel well enough. Steam game launcher reckons i got 381 hours flying, since i bought it, years ago, but i think most of that time i spend modding (beautifying) it. i do not play many games. But flying can really help relax me when stressing, even as tearing around in a high powered rally car gets rid of my excess (angry) energy. But such only works when i'm not too downish, otherwise i can't be stuffed.

i have always loved to be able to fly but could never effort that, so this is the next best things to the real thing. At least i can crash without injury or death to worry about.😁

Good fun to tare around without the danger or damage to worry about.This is how the grand kids like to fly when they play games on my computer.

How are you this morning? i hope you are well? only 6-8 hours before my wife comes back home. Depends what time she wakes up. She hates driving kangaroo hour, so it be after 6am some time i suspect. If she leaves at 6am she be back home at around 10:15am all being well.
