I really wanted to share something on this chat, so I had to think really hard and remembered I delievered food hampers and fruit to a family this morning at 7:30am! @Shaz51 I had delievered another 4 boxes to them earlier in the week. I guess I just do it and I don't even think about it.

That was a very caring thing to do @tyme It was a beautiful sunny day here. 25 degrees! 😎

My highlight was taking an older lady (86) out for coffee with another friend. She is very lonely and has dementia. She forgets my name sometimes and we go over the same stories each time but none of that matters! I love to see her face brighten and eyes light up when she talks about her younger years! I admire her determination and smile at her straightforward attitude. 😉💛

That's lovely of you @tyme 🤗 makes a real impact to peoples lives, and no doubt brightens their day to receive it. 🥰

That is very lovely of you @heartathome 🥰. I love listening to peoples stories from when they were younger, and its often a win-win because people who live alone in older age (like my grandma) often love having someone to chat to and listen to them. 😊

I don't mind working with people with dementia. I feel that by being in the moment and just going with what they say can really lighten their day @heartathome - just like what you shared! They hold on to those memories that mean most to them. It's powerful and rewarding.

My highlight 💫😊, I got to see a magical sunset tonight, it did not disappoint!

I was also lucky enough to see a Brahminy Kite in the distance and a Brown Boo3y which was cool! (Has an impressive blue beak and is a migratory bird 😊)

yesterday I got to get a shovel nose shark/ray briefly which was also pretty cool.

Indi choose a funny stick today which she thought was worth carrying most of her walk hehe 🐶🐾

gloves are going to be worth investing in @Oaktree a lot of people spend way to mych on jackets n helmets and skinmp on glovesx truth is hands are going take most of the brunt dropping bike at low speeds ot stationary.

is just part of riding so dont worry if it happens, you will figure out why its safer on bikes to go that bit quicker than cars when you out ride the 126

Hey @heartathome lovely seeing you on the forum how are you doing? I loved reading your highlight !! It reminded of when I’d take my pop out when he had dementia, he loved going to the coffee shop and one time the waiter asked if we wanted anything else and he ordered another coffee for himself 🤣🤣🤣, bless I’ll treasure those memories as he’s passed away now.
