my highlight is getting a new indoor plant baby! (it's a fittonia firetail) i'm not great with plants (i keep forgetting to water them) but i'm using the finch app to remind me, so lets see how it goes!

Oh, lovely plant @rav3n (i googled it - ive seen them before but didnt know the name). Hopefully its a plant that isnt too fussy if it gets forgotten occasionally lol. I love my spider plant for that reason - does well if I forget about it for a month at a time 🤭🤣.

plants that thrive on neglect are the best. I will have to water some of my seeds and plants tomorrow as it’s going to be hot here in Adelaide. It was too warm for me this afternoon at 30. I really hate the hot weather.

My highlight today was getting to spend time eating fro-yo and yappin' with @Jynx 🫶

@rav3n unfortunately I didn't get much sleep last night and am feeling really emotional after being triggered by something that happened earlier today.

The highlight is that although I'm hurt and crying, I understand why when in the past I wouldn't understand why I was so upset.

@AlwaysMyself thanks my friend, I basically wrote a post about it here that you can have a read of. So from that post, what that supervisor I spoke to yesterday said to me kind of upsetted me. Also, since I had my last shifts over the weekend and the fact I've been 'lectured' by supervisors on what I did for my own comfort that I wasn't meant to be doing (by the company's protocol/standards that supervisors themselves obviously have to follow, but I'd say part of it is also on the supervisors as well..just by the way that they say stuff to me that got me triggered😂) and since then I've been having a bit of doubts as to how I'm gonna continue to do the role and how I'm that type of person that overthinks things and is always looking for 'perfection' just to make consumers/clients/help-seekers happy when they speak to me because I'm scared that if I say something without overthinking that might lead to some of them replying a bit rudely or something, that's what I always worry about 😕

but at the same time I also learnt that trying to aim for ‘perfect’ responses can sometimes lead to help seekers not reacting to it pretty well, just like the consumer/client/help seeker I've spoke to on Saturday (this one)
