I haven't been online as much the last few weeks due to fatigue - popping by every day or two to read and respond to tags mostly. I expect that from christmas i will have a bit more energy as i will have some time to rest and take it easy. 😊

Today's "highlight" is a "grateful" for the competent and friendly doctors and nurses (just a minor day procedure). Poor doctor trying to find my vein for the canular lol, she did very well! Barely hurt at all despite the challenge. 🥰

I’m in a pain management ward of a local hospital this week receiving medical infusion due to chronic pain. There are 3 specific requirements 1) getting dressed in day clothes every day 2) moving as much as possible on regular basis 3) listening to one’s body, resting and sleeping whenever needed. Have various comfort and self care items with me, as discussed with my pain management Dr. lovely lady whose first qualification was psychiatrist, has holistic view and is very easy to talk with

ive gotten few walks in today. Lot better, pain wise, than yesterday which is an indication medical infusion is doing what is wanted. Missed out doing couple walks, nana nap took precedence.

Had good talk with pain management Dr when she visited tonight. She said everything I described is 100% normal and provided explanation what my body is doing. Also mentioned current indicators showing positive outcome from the infusion. She mentioned some short term side effects I might experience as of tomorrow plus how nurses can support me to enable me to continue taking my short ward laps. 💛

@Chasingsunsets hey there lovely! I hope you and Indi had a nice walk together. I do miss having a dog to walk. A shame I can't walk Mr Murdermittens but as soon as I put a harness on him he becomes one with the ground and refuses to move!

How fun would it be to walk the cat, lol! 😆

Maybe my next kitten I'll train to walk on a harness and leash!

It's cooled down a lot now and I would love to leave my bedroom window open but it faces the front yard so I would be worried about someone trying to break in.
