@Appleblossom im sorry you werent shown the same care you are able to provide others with.

if not for anonimisness and if distance allowed it i would offer to help.with the animals and any labour intensive chores so you could save your strength for cooking and cuddling.i dont know why that is i just know it to be true its not meant to be offensive i apologise if its taken that way.

im grateful for your posts and i do hope you believe i respect your strength to push through certain thoughts and live. im sure you give inspiration to a lot of people with same struggles.

my nana rode a triumph in the day i remember seeing a brown and white photo of her with the old helmet looked like its leather with the goggles

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed atm with the amount of 'mail' I've gotten throughout the day! 😁 It's great! I know! It's going to take me a while to get through them all (like days), though. Normally, I like to think about and go over and over and over it again and again; then reply to each one! Tonight, my partner needs me! I don't want anyone to think that I'm ignoring what you've written to me. I may just be passing through over the next couple of days, while he's staying with me. 💛

@Blackcloud We were talking this morning before I had to run off, so I'll reply to you next. I will type in short stints so I can also spend time with my partner. He is also on the spectrum. 💛

Hi @Appleblossom I agree with what @AlwaysMyself says..

This is a generality and just my opinion, but, I think people with MH issues are often a lot more open minded, having been through things, where they have been subject to some type of discrimination and because of their MH issues they understand that different is not bad or less, it's just different.

If we didn't have difference we wouldn't have many of the things we have, especially in the arts, but also in more scientific areas, thinking differently leads to discoveries that grinding through the usual processes doesn't.

People without MH issues I think, understandably have a different perspective and because many people don't talk openly about their MH difficulties, other people are often unaware, and they don't take the time to find out.

Remember it wasn't long ago when many people with MH difficulties weren't in society because they were institutionalised, so the rest of society could "ignore" it.

As you know the media often doesn't help with the way they portray people or jump to conclusions causing others to have some anxiety about MH issues.

On the other hand not everyone with or who has had a MH issue is as open minded, as I say everyone is an individual with their own outlooks and opinions and while you can make general statements, not everyone will fall into them.

I am glad you have made this friendship and it seems to be based on openess.

I have had mixed experiences with people with and without (that I know of) MH issues, but that could be down to me.

My highlight was that I made some good table tennis shots today and am improving, which is good for the others too because we can have longer rallies.
