 @Chasingsunsets too wet to get out yesterday and never really an adventure as I stick to the block and very quiet area plus anxiety only let's me leave in the cover of night, that been said Pooks seems to think these are his streets and any change he finds quite the adventure, bin nights he's beside himself hahahaha.

He just curled up against me as can see, such a sense of worth when feel them make a point of being up against you when they curl up, the brush of the circle before the drop into position then seeing the comfort in the face when look down to scratch the ears .

Today's highlight was waking up after solid sleep, out of bed cereal, coffee and showered no barriers to push through & it dawned on me I felt good, no noisy mind or hyper vigilance isn't it crazy how foreign that is?

And it's rarity isn't known until it's felt when a good days usually staying regulated, the mental energy it takes depletes motivation for anything else but still a good day.

Easy 3ihrs before washed away like the warmth of the sun on skin when it falls behind a cloud.

Still a highlight and then I come on here to share it with you all and to see how everyone's doing and see the supports and mentions and being thought of and feeling accepted, thought of and belong made me smile, I must remember there's always a highlight for me just coming to this thread and being part of it.

Im going to AT Last - going to address my support workers as a person who works for me.

I have no boundries - im going to see my support workers telling them that. Im manipulative and Will tell then ill let then bring their children' but then ill get overwhelmed and din on them.

5 years iv struggled with this.

@RebelliousAngel totally understand and respect not being able to disclose your pets if theyre a bit identifiable. I have also been careful with mine too because I have a rarer breed and thus more distinctive.

@PeppyPatti wishing you the best of strength for your discussion with your support worker. I recall your psychologist also helped by writing a letter to them about it?

Being assertive of yourself and setting some boundaries is so healthy and positive. 😊 I dont think its manipulative to do so - from what I've read your support worker has been manipulating you and not putting your best interests first.

You are a brave, bold and strong person! 🥰😊

Salt and vinegar chips are definitely a favorite. Altgough like last night i ate half a pack of sunrise salt vinigar. And ate koraa of unhealthy snacks until 1 am. Today iv noticed i shouldnt eat after 6.30 pm or i get tummy problems.

Do you think that it matters what parents did as jobs for us to move forward ?

borlotti beans - It's a great question because they're not eaten like pistachios. They're usually cooked until they're soft and used in stews or pasta dishes, which is where they get their name—borlotti means "mottled" in Italian, and they have cool patterns on them before you cook them.

It's so interesting that you and I have similar stories with our parents and school. My parents being an academic psychologist and mu step father a psychotherapy guu - you'd think it would've been easy for me to get a handle on things, but it was just as difficult. It's a completely different kind of pressure when the people who are supposed to know all the answers can't solve your problems. It took me a long time to understand that my struggles were my own to work through, just like you with your ADHD diagnosis.

haha @PeppyPatti you make me chuckle about the borlotti beans!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen them before!
I know what you mean similar to me “you’d think I could myself together” and be good at school as my parents were both teachers. It just doesn’t work like that hey. Unfortunately for us. Yeah a number of diagnosis I have wracked up and the last one only got earlier in the year - inattentive ADHD, it all come out of the blue, from a book someone was reading in the lunch room, very left field. I just thought I was stupid and defective I assume so did everyone else, always was told off for not listening in class, I was listening just didn’t catch what was said. A lot more makes sense now but still discovering and understanding. It’s been a minute getting my head around it all. I haven’t told many people about the diagnosis though, I am pretty quiet about stuff.
