Nice choice of cake @GezzaP . I hope it was moist! Is a chiropractor the one that makes popping noises like 'cracking the bones' when he adjusts your back? Sorry about my ignorance. How often do you go? It sounds like you've got a nice afternoon planned whether it rains or not! Are the plants loving the rain or has there been too much? 🌷

@heartathome Yes a chiro cracks your bones by manipulation. It feels good and sounds amazing. I find it works. I go about every three weeks when my back and neck are playing up. But I think Chinese acupuncture and massage worked even better. First time I’ve tried that.

The garden is loving the rain and I only have to water the pots under the eaves. I’ve got lots of seeds germinating so I have little plants.

I’ve decided to have today off of gardening today as it’s a bit cool for me. Also I did a lot of gardening yesterday. I will read my novel and stay in the warm.

@TAB housing prices are ridiculous at the moment. When I moved from the rental in Forrestfield we'd been paying $415. Within a couple of months it was sold and rented out at $600.

I bought my house for $95k in 1998. A house down from me sold for nearly $800k 6 months ago. Although it has a few more features than mine it's the same basic 1st home owner 4x2 special. I want to throw $100k at mine, get repairs done , renovate the main bathroom and kitchen, add a patio and additional carport. I'm not looking to sell but it's refreshing to know I have the equity to do a reverse mortgage. I don't much care about how much I'd lose in interest because I have no one to leave my assets to.
