I think the honesty comes from finally realizing something I wish I'd learned 40 years ago: I only get to do life once.
When you're constantly fighting to survive someone else's chaos, you're not living, you're just reacting. I am officially done with reacting. The only things I have time and energy for now are the things that actively build the secure, peaceful future I'm moving toward.
If it doesn't inspire me or bring me joy, it's just draining my battery. And that battery is now reserved entirely for my own health and my own freedom.

@heartathome @Chasingsunsets @GezzaP @PeppyPatti @ENKELI @MissGremlin @StuF @TAB @REDLINEZ750 @DownMoreThanUp @MDT @balance37 and all the formites that i have missed happy saturday! hoping everyone is still asleep as it is 4.41am! 😮 my highlight of my day is i had to donate another dress which is too big for me! i am wearing some pants which were too tight not so long ago but now have a sizable gap around the waistline 😄 2 sizes down another two to go 🙂 ! love to you all especially those on the get fit journey.

I’m awake @Bunniekins . Slept for 5 hours as last night was my night not to take a double dose of sleepy tablets. Will probably snooze later.

Justvate and did my physio exercises. About to do Spanish lessons soon.

They’re forecasting 5-10ml of rain today so guess I won’t spend the whole dsy in the garden. Oh well will do indoor chores.

@GezzaP hey GezzaP you always find constructive things to do which i admire you for. i wish i could see your garden it bet it is beautiful 🙂 we are meant to get a bit of rain next week nothing much just a sprinkle here or there not enough in my books. xx

@Bunniekins After todsy we are only going to have a sprinkle of rain. Hoping it doesn’ rain Monday because I want to walk to chiro. I’ll also drop into supermarket near chiro and go to cafe for coffee and cake. The rest of the week I’m free to garden in the mornings and read novels in the afternoon.

What do you plan to do today?
