Went to bed early woke up after only 4 hours sleep. @Chasingsunsets Will try to go back to sleep when I feel tired. Wide awake atm.

@Glisten well done! That looks a very nice and neat dowel cut! 🙂 what are you making? A table?

@TAB that looks like the type of saw I used at the women's shed where I learnt about using a dowel in a joint (made a bench seat). We also sanded all our surfaces with an orbital sander to get them fully flush. I do recall using a plane in school woodtech classes, but not used one since. But I also haven't done much woodwork since either! 😅 I think ive made 2 things, about 15 years apart 🤣.

@Chasingsunsets i do have a few "rest days" of airline hopping, and a few "rest/independent local exploring" days before my 2 tours, as well as 3 days at the end of the trip before coming home. 😊 ive learned the need for this the hard way in the past 🤣

@PeppyPatti i hope you find the book interesting. 😊 I think I would find it hard to read myself because of knowing the things Epstine was convicted of.

I don't know much about the royals myself, but over the years I have learned a number of the names lol. So I do know who Charles, Andrew, Harry are. And of course I know the basics of the story of Diana's death.

I slept for 45 minutes. Going to try to sleep a bit more as I’m tired fbefore get third quote for painting I need done at 11.30.
Walked up shop to try more cat food with my puss. She eats food for a ffew meals then stops eating it very frustrating.

More seeds have germinated in my garden. Mostly sunflowers, but also some artichokes.

Got a paper to read and to do puzzles.

My son has the same trouble with his cat. I bought a whole box of something she ate and when put down for dinner, she stuck her nose up at it! That's happened a couple of times so far! She's a pain in the proverbial. We love her, though!

I love a sunflower. I like the way they follow the sun. It was my dad's favourite flower. I'm glad that you can still do some gardening as you seem to love it! I hope you have a good time this afternoon with your friend! 💛

@AlwaysMyself Re-building the Frankenstein Table. Someone built it from Rough Cut Jarrah with a top made from unsupported wall cladding. So ugly it was an abomination to furniture design.
