@Bunniekins suggestion of bower bird sounds right to me. I know ive seen/read the nests before but wasnt sure which bird, but that does sound familiar to be.

My highlight of the day is that I managed to get my partner to help with unpacking some boxes in our bedroom for 1 hour. 😊 and he wasnt too grumpy about it either. That's a big win for me.

I dont think im very good as this "self-care" things 🤣 when my "highlights" of the day are coping with housework without dramas.

I also did some food preparation this morning too!

@Jynx can be happily jealous that tonight I am going to play DnD with my group. I hope it is enjoyable and doesnt go to slow. I think I need to bring something to do when it does go slow. 🤔 but we do it in sign language so if I were to do colouring in or something without watching the conversation it may seem rude. So not sure what I can do to still be polite but not feel frustrated that im sitting there bored... open to any of the communities ideas! I'm a thinking person so just sitting and fidgeting doesn't help lol. I need to think of something to think about while im waiting 😅

in the daytime for second time this year.

First was few moinths ago after more than a year of walking him in the night when theres less chance of of overloading, the more i can take in of my surroundings the safer i feel about flight triggering and if it happens again the less chance of me getting in trouble before whatever or whoever startled me is deemed far enough away that the response is manageable.

Wish i could say stops but since Nov 23 at best its hypervigilance unless im familiar with people or movements around me.

sorry for being absent i wrote last night it went to be screened and today i been having fun figuring that side of things out, i had said thanks to @Emilia8 for the welcome and paid respect to @strawberry2 for her highlight as i struggled with self kindness for some time @Chasingsunsets your pics are amazingly clear is it using a phone? hello everybody!

@Chasingsunsets @Bunniekins fun fact - there's another species of bower bird - the Regent Bowerbird!! Much lesser known cos they're not obsessed with blue objects, but they do make bowers!! And I just think they're sooooo pretty, all velvet black and striking yellow!
