Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

@GezzaP sounds delicious. I’ve had my dinner, will have desert in a bit.

I haven’t been following the news much lately, way too much going on, the world is broken. People have flawed and disturbing logic when it comes to letting innocent people die

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer Yes the news is bad but I’m a news junkie. Like to know what’s going on.

@GezzaP everyone is different, I need to take media breaks since it’s so bad. I do believe everyone should be considered equal, but it doesn’t work that way

@creative_writer No doesn’t work that way.

@GezzaP it’s hard enough growing up in Australia as a minority group.

What do you have planned for the rest of this evening?

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer I plan to retire to bed and read. I only slept 5 1/2 hours last night so I’m exhausted again. Hoping I can sleep more tonight. So nothing exciting tonight. It was tiring having my gardener/cleaner here today too. I moved around heaps today so physically tired. Hopefully that helps me sleep better. Really sick of waking up at 2am.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I do hope tonight is better for you. Not sleeping well for days or longer takes a hit.

@creative_writer Awake again in the middle of the night. Already done 2 loads of washing. Watching ABC news channel. Had coffee and toast already.
Simply hypomanic and can’t go back to sleep. Hoping to snooze now I’ve sat down in the armchair.

Need to walk up to the shops when it is open to get more paracetamol for my back. It opens at 7.30am. Walking hurts my back but is good for it. When it’s light I will hang washing up and have breakfast.

Putting a heat pad on my back. Trying to relax. Did some back exercises will do more later.
Cat has not eaten her breakfast. She is so fussy. Need to treat her for worms and fleas.

Hope you have had a good sleep.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP sleep has been okay, not fully super rested though, very exhausted.

I hope you were able to get some sleep 💖

Treating your cat for worms and fleas sounds like a good idea
