@rav3n
breathlessness just like not being able to feel like I can get a full breath in or being hyper aware of chest breathing usually comes up when I am anxious

it can also be asthma

Re: Hi

Sounds like my dog… she’s a heeler but she is no working dog
Mrs ad takes her to farm and she loves it for a few mins but then loves her creature comforts and is not a farm dog at all she could not be a working dog @0ddsidian

Re: Hi

I don't drink coffee at all @ArraDreaming ...and just to add to the things you could dislike about me (hahaha) - I am a cat person (who loves dogs) and my favourite colour is green!!!!

I have to say, Clover is a cat who thinks she is a dog and is super snuggly. Last night I was sewing some of the costumes for our play and she was laying right next to the sewing machine. I had to be careful because she kept putting her paw across 'trying to help'.

@0ddsidian My favourite number is also 7 👍

@Ru-bee King Charles' were my favourite breed of dog before I got Toby ....now I could not see myself without that little white fluffball ❤️

@rav3n 👋

Re: Hi

@ArraDreaming hmm like an anxiety or panic attack? sometimes i get that when i'm feeling anxious and nauseous too. but i also have asthma so sometimes i've confused asthma and anxiety attacks!

i think the box breathing can be helpful, i remember learning it for my asthma (the one where you breath in for 4 counts, hold for 4 counts, exhale for 4 counts and then hold for 4 counts again. then repeat 4 times or as much as needed). if you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

is there something coming up that has you feeling a lil anxious?

Re: Hi

Re: Hi

That's so funny @Zoe7 my dog's named Toby too! He came to us from the shelter with the name but I don't think he really knew it was his name. He's the only pet I've adopted where I kept the name 😊

Re: Hi

I am really tired @rav3n but it is self inflicted - I was up all night sewing. I kept saying 'just one more' until it was all done ...then the sun came up lol. Grabbed a couple of hours sleep this afternoon and no doubt will be in bed super early tonight.

@Ru-bee That is so funny (in a lovely way). The really strange thing is my cats have all had unusual names then Tobes came along and everyone was surprised he had such a 'normal' name ...but I could not imagine him being called anything else. He gets different versions ie. Tobes, Toblerone and various other names: baby boy, bubba, fluffball, feet warmer....Clover also gets called Squishy face a lot. Our kids at school are cute - our class always wants photos of Toby and the other grade one class ask for Squishy face ...so I take A LOT of photos LOL

Re: Hi

A friend of ours also refers to out Toby as Toblerone @Zoe7 but me and my partner usually call him The Tobester, or I've started calling him Toobles or Toobs, it's funny how the nicknames develop 😂

Re: Hi

Tobes also gets the Tobester or Tobemeister @Ru-bee ....poor little fluffball must get so confused lol He really just needs to hear my voice and that is enough for him. He is such a spoilt boy but also gets really stressed when he can't see me ...he is definitely a Mumma's boy.
