Maybe it's more like.... home is a stressful place right now?
For the record, I know how much you absolutely cherish and adore your family. There's not one single part of me that thinks this has anything to do with how much you love them, and everything to do with a bunch of practical challenges that are all piling on top of one another and making it hard for you to function.

there isn’t much anyone on here can do but I just wanted to share because its difficult st times right obviously there is nice moments and we have a good time my kids are the best
but 4 under 7 mate… @Jynx
For sure @ArraDreaming I hope it was helpful to be able to get it off your chest. You're doing your best but there's those systemic factors at play that have nothing to do with your integrity or family values. I mean like, basically... <insert anti-capitalism rant here> ... so it's the SYSTEM THAT IS WRONG! 😝
Ahem.
Plus, you're right - 4 under 7 is HECTIC... Like the older ones are probably only just wrapping their heads around more abstract concepts and stuff right? Soooo hard to meet everyone's physical and emotional needs and still have time and energy to meet your own 😵

I think from what I've learned about parenting @ArraDreaming (and I know I have NO experience and so there's a level of understanding I will just not have) is that.... it's absolutely normal to snap at children, but the best thing to do is to try to model like, owning your actions, checking in, and being humble and apologising to them if they say that yeah, they did feel upset. And just reminding them that even though you might lose it a little at them sometimes, it's something that you're working on and that it doesn't ever mean you love em any less.
LOL yep if you wanna do your dishes in the bathroom sink mate go ahead, just don't complain when your next meal tastes like toothpaste 🤣

Yeah man completely understandable @ArraDreaming - let me know if you want me to take anything down, including my own posts. Hopefully I'll have time.
Thanks for sharing with me, and legit there's a thing called 'Vulnerability Hangover' that Brene Brown came up with, to describe the feelings of self-doubt, regret, anxiety, or shame after we've shared something vulnerable. Totally valid to need to take it down to protect yourself.
Just in case, I hope you have a good week and I shall catch ya on the next one 💜
