Re: Hi

I'll let them respond, but I'm like 99.999999% sure you're way off with @RiverSeal haha

Still so impressed by all the others. I reckon you could put something like this in the ice-breakers thread, or start a thread where you basically "palm read" people, but it's guessing their coffee / tea preferences 😉

I know you said that you can't figure out Chai latte people, but I reckon I might be one of those people. I do FROTH a chai latte. I used to drink "dirty chais" (chai lattes with a shot of espresso) a lot.

Re: Hi

I've spoken with heaps of people who are similar to you, @ArraDreaming when it comes to the moving heaps and keeping stuff. I reckon you can go either way; keep everything or keep nothing. Growing up and not having a lot would probably be a huge reason why you pick up a lot of stuff now. It seems like a security thing. I reckon part of it shows how important your family and their wellbeing is.

I have a friend who is a psychologist and one of his biggest interest areas is ADHD and assessments. He said that when he's assessing adults he typically does some interviews with the person, sometimes their parents (where he can) and he uses a tool called the DIVA. It's a combination of the interview and using this tool. I found a link where you can see what the tool looks like. It's pretty long and wordy.

DIVA - Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults

I think there's a slightly different process for kids. I was diagnosed as an adult, so I'm not super sure what the process is like for kiddos.

Will let riverseal confirm for themselves

Inteeesting about the assessments I remember people taking me to talk to me during school but I also had that a lot so I can’t find a memory in my brain that fits

Re: Hi

I love that you've been reflecting on this one, @ArraDreaming. I have a feeling you're a bit closer now.

Also love that @RachSANECEO is now in on this. I was gonna tag her earlier actually. My guess is strong oat milk latte 😊

There were probably a few interviews with the people who were looking after you, plus teachers and things. How ADHD presents in childhood can also be quite different in adulthood, in my experience.

Re: Hi

I was gonna tag you but I didn’t want to disturb you with my shenanigans

@RachSANECEO

I feel like you would have a fairly decent coffee machine set up at home, breville or something even more special @RachSANECEO I feel like you enjoy the coffee, kinda pride yourself on having good coffee available at home but sourcing decent beans adds to the mental load, so your partner or someone else is in charge of the beans

But you are often too busy to use it so you buy a takeaway

you do not strike me as an instant person, you are anti instant

Re: Hi

You would buy beans from a cafe or roastary @RachSANECEO
