@TAB my hip and leg are much improved after two sauna sessions. Night time is the worst.

Sauna supports mental health and neurobiology. The amygdala’s hormone release of cortisol for fight, freeze, fawn, flight response.

Cortisol molecules are transported and stored in sweat glands and eventually secreted into the sweat itself. Cortisol has an acrid smell.

@ENKELI are you a wriggler? I was yesterday. I was up, down, sitting, standing. 3 x 15 minute sessions. Cold shower breaks in between.

Didn’t Vegas Act’ just get renovated? Vegas wkday opening hours are good!

Craigie indoor “spa lounge” area is haggard. Really haggard. Nowhere to hang your bag so that it doesn’t sit in water. The outdoor saunas are ok.

that's good re your leg @Glisten . I went to Craigie pool a few times gosh like 15years ago now. Was hanging around Hamersley briefly

Good Morning @Glisten you really love the sauna. I used to go before taking this med that causes temperature dysregulation so no sauna for me. I've done alternating showers before the weather got too hot over summers though. It kind of affects the vascular system and makes the body strong. Can't do that now with diabetes. Ah well you win some you lose some. So glad you can do saunas and enjoy the incredible benefits. I've been doing other things in my life of recent date that have lent themselves to incredible healing though which I am eternally grateful for! 😊 Can't complain!

Hello @Glisten thanks for the lovely comments. What happened with your ex? Did you go to court I'm not up to speed about what went on. So glad youre free of him now. I saw someone on you tube in a similar situation. She wrote a book about him and used her you tube platform to educate others. She found him dead in his house last month.Don't know what the cause of death was but he used to abuse her and she just found him naked flat on the floor when she went around to his house to care for her dog which was the only support she had.

You are a good person, just wish things were easier for you. Can say God bless as not religious. some people only go to church when christened, married and die.If I remember correctly, I was not baptised, as mother who was very religious said it didnt mean anything unless I wanted to do it and knew what was doing. Gives me an idea, could check church records, ha. I told people at school, they said I was the Devil and going to Hell lol..

Got bloods first go, but after looking at other arm and fist squeezing lol. ( @StuF )

Got scan request form sent off that took home other day as dr didnt tell me to give to reception, but realised after got home had to do that.

Got new healthcare card, ha. Did crossword. Going to ring place w gym and dietician and cancel dietician. there was no appt for physio. Got referral email to see dift counsellor that dietician sent me too, ok one that comes to bigtown, but I am done with all of it.

Time to take responsiblity for things myself. Counsellor in adelaide seemed ok, but said some worrying things on phone last week. Think done with them for good. If

RSL ever do anything with claim will renew next year, but after that is resolved one way or another, am done with them too.
