@GezzaP I got mine installed a few years ago and its been good. Should have done it ages ago. My elec bill was in credit, gas bill was only a small amount it just gets rolled over to next payment period as I get it deducted from my disability pension fortnightly through centrelink. They are trying to introduce green targets on homes so they are slowly phasing it in. Under this green target plan you got to have proper uptodate insulation in walls, ceilings and windows and all kinds of modifications, so its going to cost people money. This is the crazy plan they are hatching

@AuntGlow Never made it to the bath again spent much of the day sorting through my financial manic mess. Worked my way back to early 2024 so getting there. Did my exercises, watered pots and seeds etc, did some Spanish lessons, got a birthday card for my sister and put drano down a gurgling drain

I’m not sure it’s possible to insulate walls in a established house. @SmilingGecko I would think those rules will only apply to new builds. Stopped to eat something. Will go to bed early again so can go for a cooler walk and water before gets too warm. Then back on my financial mess. Next two days are going to be too hot for me.

..stranger things have happened @GezzaP anyway apparently the amount you can earn goes up by CPI every year 80/40,000 which is 0.2 % CPI is currently 3.8 % so the limit goes up.
Possibly by more than $80 by looks unless its $80 a week
