Love you too pepsi sprite bubbles and fun @PeppyPatti

I have never been the one bossing and telling people what to do. Just never had the spare energy or social support or possibility to behave that way. My energy when young, was taken up with paid work and study, and then 3 children, etc etc etc. I SHOULD have been able to tell the kids what to do, and in some ways they suffered for it, but now I realise I was in a passive aggressive coercive control DV circumstance with the father of my children, so yeah , nah, not allowed to give orders, but I was forced to be more slavish and people pleasing to get kids to do essentials like food, showering and going to school.

Now that I reflect, I am beginning to incorporate my previous work history and I did actually have a lot of authority but didnt throw my weight around. Nowadays, I am using it to be more assertive. Eg., yesterday at court and today in an old person's home I told a person to ... "Please, do not patronise me". I am proud that I said it in the moment, when it was needed. Go Apple. Standing up for herself. Learning new tricks at my age and stage. YAY!

Being assertive is brand new for me. Especially... in the moment. For the last few years, I have been reflecting and trying to figure out better ways to manage all the social interactions, but it requires being able to be intuitive, in the moment. Getting there....

sorry you have the overspending Bipolar prob @GezzaP I just cant be bothered to get rid of stuff, so that curbs any desire to buy. I got enuff, and hate shopping centres. Far too much a greenie. Especially not junk. The quality of much stuff has really gone downhill these days.

Private Dr causing the problem @GezzaP he's doing it because he wants to. Nothing to do with hospital or his staff who will have to rebook everything again
