Oh good @TAB you should be ok then. Enjoy the drive if you can. I don’t like driving much. Too many impatient drivers for my taste.

I’ve lost all my confidence since I caused an accident a number of years ago. My car hardly gets used. I tend to walk to appts if I can or get a taxi. If I’m not going far or fast I’m ok.

sometimes I'd rather not drive, but due to bus timetabling would need to stay in motel for 2 nights

Yes I understand that you’d rather not drive, but sometimes you have to @TAB . I understand about costs and bus timetables esp. in regions.

I’m lucky I have the train, tram and city loop bus for city appts.

Will have to get taxi or uber when go to have cataracts done. The surgeon who’s best in Adelaide is not in CBD. Supposed to have someone stay with you overnight but not realistic for me unless my helper is willing to stay and drive me both days. He would have to bring his dog and keep dog separate from my cat at night and at feeding times.

Guess it’s just easier to be on my own. In the past I would have stayed at my sister’s place and she would have looked after my transport. But I guess she will ignore me now if I ask her. She didn’t send me a birthday wish.

i havent had anyone to go home to like 6-7 times they let you go eventually, just lie, then they let you get a cab lol

im getting cataracts in right eye apparently lol
