@GezzaP I had to buy a new phone recently. Had to trade some silver coins at a gold kiosk in supermarket to pay for it. They usually have these gold/silver jewellery drop off places everywhere. You might have some old jewellery you could liquidate for cash to buy a phone. I'm filling out the Samsung Care warranty so Im covered if it breaks. Took out insurance on old refurbished phone which only lasted 365 days. Phone died a year later

@TAB I have an iphone 11. I think the latest one is 17 or something. Should learn how to use cheaper models.
But this one works fine apart from the sound problem which even my tech friend couldn’t solve. One day I’ll get around to buying a new phone.
Had to get this one because accidently put my previous phone in the microwave insteadvof my coffee oops lol. Stupid mistake was tired.

Annual "boys" night tonight...sure, "boys" is a stretch now, but we make up for it in stupidity for one night lol

@StuF I used to dread my ex's boys nights out. He's ex for a reason. He used to have lots of ultra rich friends and when he came home his personality underwent change. Elite golf course memberships, "Red Cross" wine supplies from a millionaire offloading wine ready to go off and every thing you could imagine, designer interiors in palatial homes full of antiques, film nights. So glad he's gone. He had his eyes on my house. Had to get rid of him finally. Should have got out years ago. He's probably hooked up with some other poor woman now...
